|
2FA enables the users to make their online transactions in the most secured way. It is a security process in which the system will prompt the user to enter a dynamically generated one-time password-OTP (Which could either be sent as SMS to the registered mobile number of the customer or it can be self-generated by the customer through an application downloaded to customer’s mobile handset). This is a globally followed practice which ensures maximum security to internet banking transactions.

- Get OTP in SIB Mirror+: It is a new option in our Mobile Banking app - SIB Mirror+ called 'SIBerNet OTP’, to view the last One Time Password (OTP) generated in SIBerNet while doing a Transaction/ Activity. Customer can click on 'SIBerNet OTP' option in ‘Services & Request’ to view the last generated OTP sent to his registered mobile number.
- SIB Authenticator App: Mobile based dynamic OTP (2FA) can be generated through SIB Authenticator app installed in the registered user’s Mobile device.
