South Indian Bank is authorized to collect GST payments via GST portal through E-payment mode & Over the Counter mode.

 
GST payment guidelines:
 
STEP I: GST CHALLAN CREATION
  1. Visit the GST portal at www.gst.gov.in
  2. Login using valid GST credentials
  3. Click on Services & select  Payments
  4. Click on Create Challan, enter reason for challan, and click Proceed
  5. Enter the GST amount values under the respective GST Heads
  6. Customer to select the appropriate Mode of payment

STEP II: MODE OF PAYMENTS

Ø   E –Payment Mode 
  1. Select E Payment as the mode of payment and Click on Generate Challan.
  2. Select the e- Payment mode as Net Banking and choose South Indian Bank
  3. Read and Accept the Terms & Conditions and click Make Payment
  4. You will then be redirected to the SIBerNet Login page 
(a) Retail User
  1. Login using valid Retail SIBerNet credentials
  2. Select the Account to be debited and click on Continue
  3. Check the confirmation details that appear, then enter the Transaction Password/OTP and click Submit
  4. You payment will be successfully completed, Payment Summary will appear & you will be redirected to GST Portal
  5. You can download your GST payment receipt from the GST portal.
(b) Corporate User (Maker –Checker)
Maker User
  1. Login using valid Corporate Maker User SIBerNet credentials
  2. Select the Account to be debited and click on Continue.
  3. Select appropriate Checker user from the Approver Details under Corporate Role list
  4. Enter the Transaction Password and click Submit.
  5. Your payment entry will be successfully completed, after redirection to GST portal. 
Checker User 
  1. Go to SIBerNET Login page and Login with Checker credentials
  2. Select Fund Transfer and click on Approval Queue, then select the transaction to be approved
  3. Check the Preview of the Confirmation
  4. Enter Transaction Password/OTP and click Approve
  5. Your payment will be successfully completed, and the Payment Summary will appear.
  6. You can download your GST payment receipt from the GST portal  
Ø Over The Counter ( For up to Rs.10,000) 
  1. Select Over the Counter as the mode of payment and Click on Generate Challan.
  2. Select South Indian Bank and choose appropriate Instrument (Cash/DD/Cheque) and Click on Generate Challan.
  3. Submit the Challan and instrument selected at your nearest South Indian Bank Branch. 

STEP III: CHALLAN RECEIPT GENERATION

  1. Visit the GST portal at www.gst.gov.in
  2. Login using valid GST credentials
  3. Click on Services, followed by Payments and select Challan History 
  4. You can select appropriate Challan either by searching CPIN wise or Date Wise and download the receipt.
