South Indian Bank has bagged two awards at the Banking Technology 2019 awards instituted by the Indian Banks’ Association. The Bank emerged winner in the ‘Most Customer Centric Bank Using Technology’ category and runner up in the ‘Best Payments Initiative’ category amongst small Banks’.

South Indian Bank has received the award for ‘Best Performing Primary Lending Institution (PLI) of HUDCO’ under Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS). This prestigious award is a recognition of the Bank’s contribution to promote credit under CLSS in 2017-18.

South Indian Bank bags IBA awards South Indian Bank Awarded with ISO 27001:2013 Certification

South Indian Bank, the front-runner in retail and digital banking, has been awarded with ISO 27001: 2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Mr. V.G. Mathew, MD and CEO of the Bank received the ISO 27001:2013 certificate from Mr. Venkataram Arabolu, Managing Director, BSI Group India at an official ceremony held at SIB Building Kakkanad.
The certification process involved an extensive audit, which was conducted by British Standards Institution against the criteria set out by the ISO 27001:2013 standards on various domains of IT functions. The bank had already received ISO 9001 Quality Management certification for its Credit Department, Personnel Department and Data Center.
“Achieving the ISO 27001:2013 certification demonstrates our total commitment to benchmarking our technology framework and processes with international standards, and forms part of our long term vision for security best practices. Adhering to the internationally recognized ISMS standards adds yet another layer of security for Bank’s customer data and assures customers of the quality of our service", said Mr. V.G. Mathew.

SOUTH INDIAN BANK BAGGED THE BEST WEB SITE AWARD FROM KMA

South Indian Bank has bagged the best web site award from Kerala Management Association. On 4th February 2011, Our Executive Director Sri. Abraham Thariyan and Deputy General Manager(DICT) Sri. P J Jacob received the award from Sri. Jayaraj, Addl. Chief Secretary of Karnataka at a glittering function in Kochi. There were totally 54 nominations for consideration of the Best Web Site from various business verticals and this award is a great recognition for our Bank. In fact, this is the second award we are receiving for our web site, the first one being the best “Asian Banking Web Site” award from Asian Banking & Finance Magazine, Singapore in January-2009.

BEST BANK AWARD TO SOUTH INDIAN BANK

 

Our MD&CEO, Dr.V.A.Joseph receives the award for the “Best Bank” in the old generation banks’ category - ‘fe India’s Best Bank Awards’ from Hon: Union Finance Minister Mr.Pranab Mukherjee . “Financial Express” Awards for “India’s Best Banks” were selected by Ernst &Young. The function was organized at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai on 25th July, 2009.
